Baby Silvers!

Your silvers are small and have soft pallets, continue feeding the blood worms 4-5x daily. Always put the food in the same spot, preferably were current is low, the aro will learn to find the food there. In about a month(4") start crumbling the food stick and feeding along with the FDBWs. Gradually increase the size of crumbles and reduce the amount of FDBWs. Once the aro are fully eating the food sticks you can reduce feedings to 2-3x daily.

Make sure that your tank top is sealed tight, arowana have a way of finding there way out of the tank and onto the floor. As they get bigger you will also have to weight the tank top.

Isn't that over feeding?

I have now experienced this first hand. I went to feed the guys this morning, and could only see one of them swimming around. I looked to the floor near the back of my tank, and found two crispy arowanas.... :(

They found a small opening in the back of the glass near the filters, and popped out over night. ARGH!!!! I have since sealed it up nice and tight. Litterally the opening must be only a few cm's square, yet TWO of them popped out of it. Back to the LFS to replenish the stock while they still have some there....

What a HUGE piss off. There goes 50 bucks dried up on the floor....

That really sucks
