Baby Snapping turtle

feed mine like a monitor, they eat chicken, rodents, fish, mp, bugs even when small... they grow huge quick and most are not prepared for what they become... but that said you seem to know ur game... they do tend to settlew and ill trust mine over my old mata anyday of the week that thing was a grumpy sod and so unpridictablely agro....

except when a mata bites it doesn't hurt nearly as much... trust me, I know!
 
Thanks all! Great info. He seems to be doing quite well. Loves krill and already managed to kill and partially eat a minnow! Got another pretty good pic!

Update --

Little snapper habitat. How's it look...for now? I know the plants will get destroyed but they're replenish-able!

i fed mine bologna and bloodworms, moved on to tadpoles....then i screwed up..made him a habitat outside in the summer...and he got boiled : / i was sooooooo mad... i was in the process of cleaning out a 180 for him too
 
good luck with him, a castnet for food for him could be a good investment, if you are worried about paracites you could breed them in captivity
