Baby sturgeon needs help!

If you read my first comment, it will answer your question.
I read all your posts. The posts didn't answer my questions; the posts caused my questions.

1) The water you placed the fish in was not sterile 4 days ago and even if it was sterile, it stopped being sterile the very first day.

2) Air stones, aquarium salt, ph stabilizer, and water purifiers do not sterilize water nor do they remove ammonia.

3) Fish excrete ammonia all the time. Even starved fish produce ammonia. Placing stressed fish in a small bucket without filtration should lead to elevated ammonia levels.

Truthfully, checked the water parameters. It's all stable, and the sturgeon has resumed normal activities now. Idk what it was doing that whole day yesterday.
