Both of them can get to the fenced in area, but can't get a grip on the side of the pool to escape.

Are you sure he didn't say they GROW 4" a month?? Seems that way to me.
Your turtle must like you or he would have been gone in a few days from that kids pool. Mine climbed out of an almost empty one that size and headed for the 'real' pond. I didn't even have all that neat stuff for him to use for leverage either.

The res can't get out...Ive seen her try. But, even if she did, theres nowhere for her to go.

Nice! I heard that Sulcata grow pretty slow. Do they slow down after a certain size?
