Baby tegu in 46G!

Hes a high white!
Hes mad chill but when i pick him up he gets a little scared.
any advice on how to tame him or keep him calm?
I tried the shirt in the hide and he does sleep in it. idk wats wrong.
Any advice on housing another with him?

Nothing's wrong......It's doing what it's programmed to do.......Don't try to "tame" it, or you'll end up with a Lizard that hates life........You'll also find out that Tegus are fairly stupid, and limbs are optional......I've had quite a few stumpy Tegus......They just don't get it......

That's a good looking tegu! Feeding in a separate area will calm it down.

Moctezuma would be a cool name, Monty for short.
