My tigrinus i got yesterday hasnt eaten yet so im kindav worried. Ive been putting in blackworms and he just ignores them. The worms could be flailing in front of him and we wouldnt recognize them. Should i be worrying yet? Could it be the temp? Its at 82. Is this too high?

when did you get your tig, yesterday. there is nothing to worry about. every time you add fish to a new tank they are gonna be stressing for at least a week, maybe less maybe more.

I know that but i got a whiptail catfish too and it started eating a minute after i put it in. Yea but ur probably right that theres nothing to worry about.

i have a silver arowana, flagtail, lima shovel nosecatfish, florida gar, senegal bichir, albino bichir and retro bichir. all of them eat like crazy except for the retro, he gets next to the food looks at it and swims away. hes just going on a hunger strike but hopefully will eat soon. just give them some time to get used to the tank

Try dimming the lights or turning them off all together. But like the others said, give it time. Mine didn't eat for the first 4 days I think.

I second the guppies.. my lil' TSN was eating guppies his first night at home.

IMO: Small tank. Lower water level. Guppies. G/L.
Interesting tactic....How big is the tig?I got mine as a four incher and it is about twice that size now. When I brought it home I let it settle for a day or two and then I dropped in small pieces of raw shrimp or smelt, once it sensed it in the water it went after the food.

I already tried guppies and he just ignores them completely
