Only someone that has been in business, can see the bigger picture or at least most? If retailers are gone? Do not expect to get service or get waited on hand & foot. If you have a problem? Oh well you lose. Cheap comes at a price.
As far as Walmart etc. they do not sell everything cheap or at a lost leader. It is impossible because they would not be where they are now. Some stuff is cheaper then some stuff is more then the next store or even the mom & pop shops! When your in business you are suppose to make money! It what makes the world go around. I'm pretty good at knowing what is priced on what where & when? I also have a problem with someone jacking up the price(s) beyond normal & basically ripping someone off. But most that do so also do not stay in business as in someone selling so cheap also do not stay in business long. I have seen over & over again. If I do not make no $ I do not pay the bills, support my family & stay in the business & buy video games :) etc.
I love what I do & lucky to do it, but I have gave up a lot to be where I am now & I do not live a lavish life style. Believe me I think many times I could be making a lot more money with paid vacations & health benefits etc & not worry about my 4 year olds future. My father worked in the auto industry for 38 years, yeah he made good $ doing factory work & owned a small business. If someone is not making decent pay they are not paying for all the extras in life that many of us enjoy. We are a spoiled race (not all) & a throw away society & do not care anymore. I have been & seen many walks of life in the world & I come home and appreciate what I have. I was collecting in South America not long ago. I say most politicians & Teens need to spend a week down there to get a wake up call about life.
Common sense & Respect you do not need a college degree.

Okay back to the dats I'm another that highly doubts these are true on what I know & who I know as good sources for fishes & knowledge of the industry.

if something is that rare or almost gone then it belongs to a zoo or a aquarium or a special aquaculture farm that can work with the fishes/animals for breeding captive viable off spring that may let us enjoy them some day?

DAY OF ARRIVAL POSTPONED 1 WEEK! according to weather forcasts it will snow and be crappy here, not risking a delay on these, wide bars are to valuable, any one who has prepayed o sent you a pm explaining, im am sorry i hope you understand i am doing this in best interest of keeping these lil guys alive

ill admit i should of known better then offering this up, good deals never go over well when they are set up this way, and yes i can partialy blame myself, i think if i came acrossed this myself maybe id think it was sketchy as many do.
I figured it mite be a little different, its not like i joined the site last week never posted and bam here is wide bars

i also new tht chosing to set the time back on shipping was going to get me absolutely flamed, but to me keeping those baby sts alive is more important, because if they are wide bars, what good is it if they come in dead.

as ive posted several times put this out here to offer what i believed was a good deal for mfk to get wide bars, as the supplier has been good to me i know he's not scamming me( which im sure is most of ppls fears, it was mine also!)
i took the chance, and all i can do is hope for the best, hope all this money went towards something that would be realy great, a bunch of baby sts which would realy be an awesome fish, would wouldnt want lil sts

for those who are here just to flame and doubt please keep the comments to your self, youll only be repeating what others have already said or pmed to me

again don't take it personal.... but if you really care about this shipment then perhaps your would pay more close attention to my issues and doubts.... i gave suggestions for packing and have other news as to the structure of importing which we can talk about privately via pm.... still have not heard from you.... if you dont care or dont want to know thats fine and honestly i rather not waste my time.... i ignore countless pms daily but really just wanted to make sure the members of mfk do not get scammed....
 
i still dont see how it is appropriate to have all these post ona for sales thread and a mod no cleaning them off, let the guy sell his product and let actual buyers post . i thought spam was to be deleted .
 
I have read most of this thread, but not all of it. I really hope these are true STs. But with todays technology and the ease of digital cameras. Why can't your supplier take a pic and send it to you. Especially with this new 1 week delay. It seems far cheaper and easier to snap a quick pic. Than to wait a week, ship them here, find out the are or aren't STs then ship them back (or keep them, I am not sure what your plans are). Just my 2 cents.......
