The P generation would be AA (normal) X aa (xanthic) which would yeild 100% Aa heterozygous (all would look normal but carry the recessive trait). Cross Aa with Aa and you'll get 3/4 with a normal phenotype (AA, Aa, and Aa) and 1/4th would be xanthic (aa).
What did you notice when you bred the offspring?
