Babysitting Nightmare

She's my niece And she is not my kid to hit. She knows she did wrong, her mother was left to put the punishment in action. I on the other hand tried calmly to explain to her the consequences,

As for the punishment- No Video games for 2 months, computer use only for homework under supervision of course and i forgot the other punishment.. my brain sucks.. what i get for traveling.
 
Why all the hate, the person is just 8 years old and she is just a kid. Gosh , some people are so cruel, she must be in the 4th grade at the most. Dont you remember when you were in the 4th grade and how your reasoning was?

It was an accident and it was not intentional so the grounding is cruel. You have to take account that this is just a kid.

No flames for me please. This is just how I look at it.

yeah I remember when I was 8, and I remember knowing that hard things break glass and not to damage anything that belongs to my family, and I would also fess up to anything I did...but we aren't all built the same

...of course I wouldn't condone an 8 year old abortion, I thinks that is called teh homicide

my parents were very strict with me so i knew better but then again everyone is rasied different. i dont think grounding is to harsh i used to get grounded for months for doing stuff that today kids get a slap on the wrist. times have changed.... man i feel old and im only 27
 
as a positive side note

if you ever find yourself in a position where you need to defend yourself a book thrown binding first will hurt the tartget when it conects.

Yea, she is in the 3rd grade, or maybe she is in the 2nd grade at 8 years old. A 2nd grader will do stuff and will not know the consequences of actions. That is just my opinion.

Why does someone always say something like this in these threads? And why is it always "curing" the pregnancy rather than preventing it?

And are her parents paying for the tank, or are you? You should take this as a sign to upgrade.
