Ill be building a overhead sump since i cant make a sump underneat the tank, so ill be running two aquaclear and a 20g long plant plastic window pot as a sump, ill be using a jet 900 powerhead.
See these a lot in tanks in Asia with the overhead sump. Good space saving and utilizing idea. Throw some lava rock in there and ur set.
That is the plan, i heard crushing the lava rocks give more space for the BB to house in, but im not to sure about it.
It’ll make more space for the rocks but not sure about the BB to be housed. I believe it’s porous enough.
Currently setting up a sump with 3 tier plastic drawer and lava rocks. Lots of big broken pieces and debris.
I agree. I use it in my 3 drawer. I did get some bioballs to at a good deal so those went in too.
