Well, I took the shiners out of the tank and brought them to the lfs and when I looked around they didn't have anything I wanted so I brought the shiners back.
I'll have to make a wetspot order soon. I'm kinda holding off because my wife is 39 1/2 weeks pregnant (few days from due date). She had our first two babies two weeks early so she's going to pop any min now. I'd hate to get an order of fish in while at the hospital.
The really hard part is what to order. Obviously I want poly and ropes but this is a little 40g (for now). Might have to stick with the original plan and fill it with peacocks for my Dad. Like I said, once I get my garage clear I'll be looking for a Craigslist monster tank. I don't want a whole lot of tanks this go around. I'm starting fresh with just one little office tank and want to find one large tank for home.
I'll probably do something along these lines. That's how my Dad's shop is. I want to use as much wall space as possible also. Hang as much up as possible. I'd like to make a huge, long work bench with enough space to put a huge aquarium on and still be able to wood work etc
I just emptied my 75 gal amd was thinking the same thing (what to put in it) even though im taking it down to lighten up the work load yeah the addiction is real !!!
But figured maybe after i recover from the surgery i'll do something with it. I really think a group of exodons would be soo cool sadly they really cant be kept with other fish

No they can not! Lol
I thought about doing some of those had no idea about them and was looking on line to find out about them and found a video. I'll have to see if I can find it again. A lfs near me gets them from time to time they told me it'd be fine with anything. I took the video to the store and said that's fine with anything?! Basically in the video they are with smaller piranha not much smaller then them but far less in number. When the owner tossed in a frog let's just say the exodons out competed the piranha. The owner lost 2 piranha during that feeding too. Yeah good idea on a species tank there lol.
Wet Spot has ropes right now... And quite a few other polys including Weeksii which I haven't seen very often there.
