I cannot praise this highly enough it has been running on a 110 off an eheim 2028 and it has been faultless in the 3 years I have been using it. Tha main reason i purchased it was did not want the possibility of breaking glass in the tank and one lees thing to have to try and hide in the main display.I would certainly recommend

I love my titanium heater with controller. You can find them cheap. The brand I have is called aquaheat, a bit low end at $30 for 200 watts but it works perfect and the build is rock solid.

I think I'm gonna try for the smartheater...I'll probably do the 300watts more for the extra length than for the extra wattage.

Gonna see if petsmart or petco or the other petstore around here has one, if not I'll have to overnight it.
