I recently got back into the hobby after a couple of years off this forum although i dont have my tank no more i want to start up again i was thinking a 90 gallon. any ideas would be great:)

Good tank sizes: 10, 20, 29, 55, 60, 75, 90, 100, 110, 120, 125, 140, 180, 220, 225, 240, ]V[, etc.

I'd go with a 55, or a 90 for you. Very stable, plenty of room to make mistakes, etc. Although it's up to you, it is highly dependant on what fish you have experience with and what fish you plan to keep in it.

Yeah I was thinking of a 55 or 70 ..... cichlid wise? i would like to get some aggressive fairly rare ones

Don't get a 55. Get at least a 75. I would do CA cichlids.

A big solo haitiensis would look really nice.

Ditto on the hait. Cuban or istlanum would be good too. Cubans have been more readily available lately.

A female festae would be nice too.

With big agressive cichlids, your only going to be able to put one in a 75-90. If you go up to 125-150 you can have 2-3. For the solo approach, I would Look into-
Vieja Maculicauda (Blackbelt)
Vieja Fenestratus
Vieja Bifasciatus
Paratheraps Zonatum (hard to find but stunning)
Red Devil/Midas
Flowerhorns
Nandopsis Haitensis
Female A. Festae
Trimac
Red Tiger Motaguense
Parachromis Friedricksthalli (One of my favorites)
Jaguar (P.Managuense)
Gymnogeophagus Brassiliensis
Pair of N. Salvini
Texas Cichlid (Carpinte or Cyannoguttatus)
Amphilophus Lyonsi
Amphilophus Amarillo

^ Thats a pretty good list, and it will give you a few things to look up. You should find a few things you like.
