softturtle - unfortunately the LFS only had the one female. But the wholesaler has had them a while, so feel comfy that these two should do well. You know exactly how rough they come in as given your losses ... I do need to fatten them up a bit though.
AWESOME!!! They DO look great man! I am very jealous!! I have to challenge you on the 'regani are the best of the dwarves' comment. I personally think notos are 100% more attractive... But thats just me. Great fish man! I am most indeedy impressed! You actually took great pictures too!
I WANT 1100 points!!! I am clueless though...hints? Unless you are making fun of me....lol
I prefer the colors on the noto's deffinately, I find them over all more attractive. Was refering only to the irregular white/black markings on the female regani's dorsal though. Now if a dwarf had that pattern with noto colors ....
Yeah, taking the pictures was deffinately both fun and fustrating, will have to get a camera I know how to use soon! No more pics for a bit though, had to give the camera back.
Probably dating myself ... a play on steve winwood's song "back in the high life again." And of course the points are from who's line is it anyway.
Even more so than the big pikes, dwarf pikes seem to be seasonal ... can go most of the year here without seeing any but compressiceps ... all three species I have all have been available only in the last month or two.
