Back on the horse... new polys in the house

Thanks. Im going to try and darken up the sand a little with some garnet sand. I hope to get that guy to 'pop' a bit more.
I just got back into it as well, and picked up my first Ornate...super common, I know, but I have no right buying anything pricier than that right now. So I get to live vicariously through you folk. Polys are so blisteringly underrated as well...they are such interesting fish.
Ornate, total beast! Mine not so much, lol. When I first got polys a few years back my choice was a weeksii over an ornate, been a slow grower but happy with it. Might get an ornate myself one day...
I've wanted one for over ten years. I paid 50 for this specimen. It's patern is very vibrant, lives with a gold sev.
That is a looker. If I would have got an ornate two years ago instead on my weeksii, it would be huge by now!
Problem in my area, I cant find nice looking bichir in the local stores. The laps are all bland, the ornates too look bland. I find the online rout the way to go. Ive used vendors tat will send pics of the actual fish and been able to pic out ones I really like.

That's why I felt it was fate when I found it, as the selection around here is mediocre as well. One place does have a platinum endli for 899 though.
Have never seen a plat endli in real life, just pics. Plus just a tad out of my price range. Put a decimal point in there... lol, then it would be mine
