Thats a nice upgrade! You can always work on things like improving filtration and upgrading lighting with plans on having all the gear when the opportunity does come for a 180g or more.It's a 125 sadlyno where near as big as I wanted I found a 180 for half the price of this one but I honestly don't believe my floor can hold it so .... I went wit this to last me another a year or so iv deff been waiting awhile for this but I make 22$ a hour now so I can afford these things

I have 3 filters running on it 2 canister filters and a 75 hob just for water agitation really ..... May buy another filter today as well
Big canisters? Im thinking along the lines of FX6 or Eheim 2262 and maybe an Aquaclear 110 Hob. This will get you set up for thereally big tank. Lol, Im all about the big filters.
Lol I don't have that big lol just spent a grand on the tank lol and bout to drop around 1600$ on bichirs lol gotta get my money back up b4 I get big filters but that is the plan tho replace these for bigger ones .... Right now I got a 150 gallon canister filter it's a old one iv been usin for years got one yesterday that's a marineland for 125 gallon tanks and a 75 gal hob

If you decide to upgrade the filters a 2262 will be great and can be moved to your next upgrade lol. That filter is a beast. Had one on my 150 and thought it blew away the fx i had.
Ir you could do a sump for dirt cheap lol
