i would be concerned w/ the possibility of parasites that a wild caught frog could be carrying.

great to see the gar's back improved! i doubt the snout will change much, but the key is the back. nicely done. as for the young frog-spawn, they should be ok for feeding as we're not looking at the same systems/issues as we would with (for example) goldfish here in the US. well done, and hopefully the fish continue to grow well for you--
