Back to the "big" tanks

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have the, I guess is American version, called Aquatop, but I wouldn't rely on that as your only filter for your future pbass. You should get a wet/dry and maybe one big HOB for back up.

Yes, tank s too small for Pbass. If you go to Toronto, the best outlet there is Finatics. Dixie Rd, Mississauga. I got Festae and Tiger Mota there about a month ago. He also had Freddies, Grammodes, Jags, Mayans, a real Red Devil, Carpintis, T. Butti. Any of these will do well in 125g. Also concur with more filtration for eventual big fish. Throw an AC110 on there for some mechanical help.

Ive had a festae on my list since I got into this hobby 5 years ago. Im pissed my buddy killed my jag, well his roommate did... The guy put bleach in his WC bucket and didn't tell him. Called my buddy up to see if it had outgrown his 75 yet and he tells me its dead.. Annoying.

Ill have to hit them up after x mas ! There are a few stores on that road am I correct?

I was planning on selling the sun sun and getting 2 fluval AC110's or an FX6

Updated the tank, got some trimmings from a friends planted....

Put a Leapord bush fish in here so far...Cant see him though

Nice tank! As for stock, nothing a trip to your local lake or creek couldn't solve :).

AC 110 is not made by fluval they are made by Aquaclear... Myself I think I would go with the 2 110's. that way you have a filter at each end of the tank!! The FX6 is a much much better filter but its only one filter in a 6 foot tank!!

The tank is looking good by the way, I love the driftwood!!!

Yea that's what I was thinking, the AC110s are easier to clean and you can clean a different one each time so you never throw your cycle. I do have a water movement fan, pretty stong that could get the water cycling around for the FX6. I was using it in a 125 salt. Its so strong though my bush fish cant keep up with the current. Gets blown around, funny to watch but I quickly unplugged it.

Hagen manufactures both Fluval and Aquaclear.
