Background finally came in for tanganyika tank. Trying out a few different scapes.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've looked at the prices on those for years and thought nope. I've made a few of my own but I'm terrible at rocks...(go figure). Mine usually end up as roots and stumps. Im trying my hand at rocks again. I may give in and get one of these because that looks awesome.

What are you stocking the tank with? Those dimensions are awesome. I would die for a tank that size.

Tanganyika cichlids.
Currently
20+ xenotilapia singularis 2"
10 wild neolamprologus brevis 5m/5f

Future stock so far
4x Neolamprologus furcifer

The rest is still undecided.
Those xeno’s are gorgeous. There’s a hobbyist in my area that keeps them. Will be an amazing and unusual collection.

The new background is looking fantastic!

Quick question, any plans to fill the gaps at the top of the background to reduce/eliminate the possibility any fish can get over and behind the background?

The way I siliconed the background to the back of the tank no fish can get behind the background.
I'll leave the gap between the background and the top for fry to hide. Especially cyprichromis or paracyprichromis fry.
