bacteria bloom

I am currently running an Emperor400 and a Fluval 304 in my 60 gallon. I was wondering if removed the emperor would it cause a bacteria bloom in my tank.

in my fluval i have strictly only have biomedia, ceramic rings and filter floss. no carbon.

BTW i forgot to mention the fact that i first cycled the tank with the emperor and then added the fluval.

in that case, how long has the fluval been running on it?

maybe 3 weeks or so

if it is truly cycled, it should be fine. 3 weeks is plenty time.
