Sorry for the loss phil, i was close to vomiting just reading that list so god knows how you feel. Can't believe the mata mata and those 2 hybrid cats are gone. Dam water works! They should pay!
 
So sorry to hear. I guess many of us have lost fish because of bad water changes, but this is a /\/\onster disaster :(

If it would have been simply 'raw sewage', my wet/dry filters probably could have handled it. The problem is all the chemical waste that goes down the drains, too. Things like laundry soap, dish soap, shampoos, car oil, paint/paint thinners, drain cleaners, toilet bowl mints, and a plethora of other chemicals.

The water dept publishes these events but, a small town like this only puts out a newspaper on Thursdays.

I saw judge Judy give $3000 to a person for a chicken that was killed by a dog. She said that the chicken was like family. That person with the unauthorized dig is responsible for conpensating you.
