Bad BAD day due to my own doing.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My street cats have luckily never caused any problems except occasionally turning off the power strip by stepping on it so I’m lucky in that sense. I couldn’t imagine what you must have gone through with all of these accidents, I hope it goes better for you man.

The last archerfish did pass away as well as the clown loaches guess the stress was too much, or ammonia spiked right up. Lost my biggest ones. Am so bummed right now those loaches were my favorites, I was making sure they were not the ones getting sick keeping them from moving into the main tanks downstairs. Wish I did now. Here’s more lesson to be learned. I’m so sick to my stomach it was my own fault. I could have moved them all yesterday right away. Not just stick with 50% w/c. Guess the cycle was off from what the cat did or she had something in her paw infecting that water. IDK trying not to overthink it.

Hello DrownedFishonFire DrownedFishonFire ,
Sorry about the issues you are having with your cat, I know how they can be lol. She sounds like a handful, that's for sure. Maybe she needs a cat buddy to hang out with. Playing with another cat she could use up some of that pent up energy and have something else to focus on. Just my 2 cents.?

Been going back and forth on the issue. I actually have another cat. A regular orange tabby DSH that doesn’t give a flying fudge how Olivia, the Bengal, wants her kingdom to be run. Tiger Lily is DOUBLE olivias size. And is a heavyweight champion when fighting all she has to do is get one paw and sit on Olivia she will win. That’s how big of a difference they are in size. Olivia’s a tiny spitfire That has her ego wounded that her cat subject is not bowing to her kingdom bylaws/traffic. Tiger doesn’t care about boundaries. She doesn’t care that Olivia gets her OCD out of whack. It’s kind of hilarious. Olivias actually a cat that resorts to ADHD style Guerrilla warfare. She will harass Tiger Lily when she’s not paying attention smack her on the nose or get a paw on her then dashes right away running for her dear life before Tiger Lily realized what happened. Its really brutal at times at least 4-8 times in a hour when Tiger’s awake and up and about. I’m not worried about Tiger as she has the ability to chase down Olivia and smack down if she had enough, its just the fact that if it was another cat, they would be stressed the heck out. Tigers just a cat that has a high tolerance and is aloof. Olivia is just a little bit too much of a character for me to be comfortable subjecting another cat to her antics. Tiger just plops down nowadays and dares Olivia to finish it when she’s aware Olivias gunning for her. All she gotta do is lift her paw. She’s a southpaw in a fight. Olivia knows it. She still does attempt to drop objects off the counter/table/surface when she knows Tigers nearby at the moment.

I’m worried if I get another cat, and its not allowing Olivia to be the boss, it will absolutely cause more problems, or the cat will go crazy and develop behaviorial issues after living with Olivia. I’m definitely not comfortable putting a kitten in this situation at all.

The well behaved cat Tiger Lily
