Bad combo??

I just bought a pair of oscars about 11-12" each and i added them to my empty 180, I measured the what i thought was my 150 today and it turned out to be a 180 once i used a gallon calculator. Well I also climated my red devil about 8" and stuck him in there, do you think they will pick on the red devil??they havent even touched him for over an hour now

youre oscars arent gonna last long with the devil. i would highly suggest putting the devil in a 90 gal

That's not the point. There were others who were larger and more aggressive than him but once the aggressors are eliminated, he may follow their footsteps next. There is almost always a bully in every cichlid tank.
