I remember when my tank crashed a few years back, I lost all my plecos but 1. Lost all my danios. My cories and Clown loaches were untouched. I could not not explain what happened.
Bad day for me in this hobby. Poor Pleco's

Same as always did around 50% WC not sure if it was chemicals or what that did then in. I got to do a WC on my other tank hope nothing is really in the tap. Oh and as far as money spent a bit over a grand
First what type of plecos did you lose. Did you fill the tank right up. If so did you use prime or stress coat. Did you notice rapid breathing.
Some psuedas and some panaques along with a common. They went from being like normal to not being able to stay balanced slow breathing and filling the tank slowly with water conditioner. Been doing this routine for years.
Sounds like panaque blight /or panaque plague. Years ago I lost an entire collection of plecos after introducing a blue eye. It was devastating and costly. Sorry for the loss. It's the single reason that I will never mix panaques with pseudos again. Almost took me out of the hobby.
