bad habits while working on tanks??

I'm going to theorise that its there only to cause issues. To make peoples lives difficult by developing appendicitis... It has no other purpose where I'm concerned other than to make life difficult for some unfortunate souls.

Only on Monsterfishkeepers will you find a forum about fish where we ague about what the appendix is suppose to do. That said I have no idea what it does and I don't actually care much as long as it doesn't make me sick.
I thought of this thread, I'm not really sure what bad habit I have, except maybe double checking everything while doing maintenance and maybe enjoying a adult beverage as some will call it.
But I have to admit that sometimes I do my wc a day late or so because sometimes I just couldn't get to doing all my other chores in time and didn't get to do a wc. If I really have to do a wc asap and I didn't get to it I end up doing it late at night while everyone is tuck into bed sleeping.

I do a waterchange to avoid chores, when I see something is imminent i start draining and my parents let me off the hook and call the siblings

I'm sadly an adult and as much as I wish to not adult anymore I still have to having kids a hubby and bills we just don't have a choices and sadly I can not use my fishtanks as a distraction to get out of chores as the chore will still be there if I'm done.
