I can't handle how much I love my fish. It's pissing me off. I went from having a 55 with 2x marineland penguin 400's to a 75 gal with an eheim 2075, magnum 350 with the 8micron filter, and a 55 gallon refergium/sump with 5L of eheim substratpro and 5L of eheim ehfi mech. in 3 months. I think I need a 220 gallon tank now. I love these african cichlids. In a couple years I'll turn over to the dark side and start a big salt tank. seriously, way too obsessed.

I went from a 75 to a 125 to a 240.

but between those tanks, I accumulated a 90, 3 more 75s, a 150, 2 180s, and I built a 1500 for my koi.

Then I bought 65+ 20 gallon tanks at an auction.

Nice, I'm obsessed too lol...but I love this hobby, wouldn't give it up for nothing. I have the same skull in my 75g; I would love to upgrade to a 220 like your thinking about doing, lol! Just one thing stops me, I don't have a job at the moment! I'm only 19 yrs old though with no gf, so I shouldn't worry about it too much right now. Hopefully find a job soon and expand my collection of tanks and fish stock. Can't wait to be honest...:headbang2:cool-1::grinno:

I picked up the skull from petco. I go there when I need something on the fly. they happened to have something that I thought was actually cool. I got the stones from there too.

Right now my wife will only let me have one tank, and since we rent a townhouse right now I can't go much bigger than this. maybe a 90, but I'm already building a stand for this tank, so that's what it is.

just waiting for my wife to finish her masters before we buy a house. then it's game on. gotta get my knowledge up before I go bigger though.

I only have a 75 but I am already contemplating building a huge plywood tank (10x4x3). The only thing that has stopped me is I have zero woodworking skills, and don't even own a skill saw.

Though I get compulsive about my hobbies. I am recovering audiophile who had plans to build a 10x4x4 foot subwoofer with 5 15" woofers. Again, my lack of woodworking skills overcame my insane obsession with watching Lord of the Rings at Jet Engine volumes.

i just left to college so im dealing with being away from my tank i hate it i miss taking care of the guys but my bro taking good care he addicted too o,O lol i gonna come back and the entire tank will be different prob.
