How did you get such idea? The ornate last for a month, thus, he probably did something, water change at least... Doing something doesn't mean problem solved. Bloat is not easy to cure like cloudy eye or fin rott. Plus he posted this thread on Feb 1, and said the bloat started last month... It could start on Jan 31Spiritofthesoul;4875217; said:

yeah.. but everything just happened in 1 -2 weeks... congicus jump out, ornate died with bloat, and then armatus decided to push the glass top open and escape (rescued him at that moment cuz i was there to witness the whole thing).. (sigh)... i usually do my water change every week, 2 weeks max.., i had a party and everybody just couldn't keep they're hands off the aquarium.. and my fish became jumpy after that.. so thats when my bad luck started (same armatus got injured that night)...at least the next day.. (sigh)
i meant at the next day death toll started... sux a lot.. that's about $500 lost... cuz it includes shipping and stuff.. and my hardwork in growing them out..

Sorry about that. Didn't intend to sound rude there.. Just that I would have totally freaked out if my bichir has bloat and post like 10 threads in MFK asking for help. Sorry for your loss
