highly oxygenated, not necesarrily cooler.,. during the summer it gets very hot in India. and 10,000 gallons, sure once it gets 400 pounds, but in the meantime if you haven't seen any that big in captivity, ever, then probably not.
 
Not aggressive? I'm not saying who's right or wrong here. Will it snap one day? I've always wanted to get one but my researches told me it can be aggressive... Maybe I'm wrong. If its really not, maybe I should start to think about getting one again lol.

its not aggressive. I've kept them., multiple times, together, large ones, small ones, with datnoids, peacock bass, loaches, other catfish., etc...never bothered anyone. this is from first hand experience.
 
That's a good thing, it's not like an RTC that will keep growing and growing...

I think they always keep growing just like any other fish, it's just very slow. I bet the 400 pound 6 footers are over 50 years old.

Although, I doubt they will survive that long in captivity, As Wes said, He hasn't seen one over 30" in captivity.
