And I don't see the big fuss people make. If you have others prepare your food have the knowledge(not ignorance), that bugs, mice, dirty hands etc is common. It should be shame on the customer for being ignorant and acting like food is supposed to be clean at all times. People really need to understand where their food really comes from. Don't like it, grow your own food and raise your own meat, milk, eggs etc. Can't fault grocery stores and restaurants for this, while it is gross, it is a reality.
??? huh? There is a thing called minimum expectation. Just because bugs & mice are abundant, don't mean it has to be in my burger! I agree, things happen in restaurants that we as consumers are unaware of, but again, if I find a dead cockroach in my happy meal -- that's no longer a happy meal! We as consumers need to make a fuss -- because if we don't instead of getting a delicious 20 piece chicken mcnuggets, we get 20 piece cockroach nuggets. Not cool! There can be no complacency for this kind of thing. Hey people say you get what you pay for? -- have you seen the prices at fast food places? By the time you are full, you spend a pretty penny. How many times have I told myself, damn, for an extra $2, I could have gone to a restaurant! Expecting your food to be handled properly is not ignorant -- the problem is ignorant handlers not doing their job.
