That's the thing about thinbars,they can be as fine as wine and do well for a long time and then one day they just come down with some kind of funky ailment.They seem to have something lying dormant within them,waiting for the right time to overtake the fish.

Yeah my NTT got pop eye out of no where. I am assuming was the feeders though. Was very sad. They are super expensive in Australia $800+....
