Some town
Hey, I might go to the bahamas in march for a school trip. We're doing an exchange thing over spring break, and I might go. They do a lot of marine ecology and study, and we'll go scubadiving. Could some of you saltwater fishguys fill freshwater me in?

lots of corals, tangs, maybe a boxfish or 2, perhaps a stray trigger, some eels... BTW just google bahamas as well...

The Western Atlantic has a lot of cool fish. Most people don't think of it as a diverse collection like the Pacific has.
Common fish you'll see are various damsels, surgeons, triggers, grunts, grouper, parrots, butterflys, eels, jawfish, trunkfish, puffers etc..
Lots of elasmobranch species as well: many rays (Southerns, yellow, Atlantic, cownose, spotted eagles, guitarfish, sawfish...), many sharks (tigers, bulls, Carribean reef, lemons, hammers, black tips).

lets say agreed ^ but most of all you'll get to see first hand the beauty of our oceans and reefs just remember look but don't touch or disturb the system for us all and for the well being of the reef. And, have a safe and good trip.
