 That is so cool just think it would be bad news if you hooked a 30lb + pike or a wels  To quote"You're gonna need a bigger boat. ";)

You could use it like an downrigger http://tackledirect.com/afgoldowclip.html (or make your own) on a deep sea boat and clip the line from your pole to the boats equipment and troll that way.

Since you already have das boot (?) lets give it a try. Put your miniature remote colour cam on the boat and lets see what you get...Oh and a live feed (videos) please,( or give us the GPS coordinateds on we'll turn the Google satilite to watch you) not that we don't trust you, BUT you do admit to being a fisherman!   :D .

Name withheld so you can't find me...

Ok so I looked up Fisherman in the dictionary and got:

One who fishes as an occupation or for sport?

So yes:D

I think they have a place but that unfair advantage is banned on a lot of lakes in England and it is a necessity on huge waters where you physically can't cast to the spot the fish are. But if your thing is remote control lure fishing good on you takes scale modelling to a new dimension:naughty: .

Here in the states 'fisherman' is synonymous with...well...lack of truthfulness on occasion, usually to do with fishing :D .

I would suggest a kyack for you, but maybe not with the fiah you want to catch...I can see the news report now "A man is being towed around the lake for the third day with no relief in sight" or "Man breaks water speed limit after hooking fish".
