Bala Shark??....

I have had my Bala Shark since i got my 125gal tank(a year)i used it to cycle my tank,He /she has been through everything imaginal,it continues to thrive it is about 9",how big do these suckers get??Any pic's out there of big Bala's??

Think they get up to 18" I never had one get nearly that large though

they grown to a foot on avrg. but can get 14-16 inches. 18-wow! man show me the photo of it.

I kept some that got to around that size, I'll see if I can dig up a picture. Sadly my largest one freaked out one day and hit his head on the hood and died. The others were finished off by my then 3'' GG in one night :-(

yeah mainly 12'' but they it isn't unusual for them to get up to 16''

i had a black shark that was about 8" ddnt hve pics though mean as, put up a good fight towards anything ...

the husky got to it though ....

Now that's a big bala I've got 2 tiny 1/2'' growing out in the pleco tank, hopefully one day I'll get one that big again
