hey everyone i need your opinion and help. i have 6 bala sharks all 4" and 5" 2 off them are acting weird. they will chace each other everyonce in a while. then they dance around each other and do twists and turns and stuff. they have never done this before and its just these to. i have no idea, matbe there breeding? are they even big enough to breed? bc if they are i want to do the right thing to have a nice big bach of babys. thanks

As far as I know they have never been successfully bred in an aquarium. I would recommend separating them into a large tank, 75+ gal. observe their behaviour, it does sound like a courtship ritual. These guys get big, and it sounds like they are still too young to be sexually mature.
ya thanks for the reply. i know they get way bigger and thats why i thoght they still might not be mature to breed yet. i dont know, there not hurting each other so im gonna keep a close eye out and watch themWyldFya said:

My wife has a bala shark that is about 3 years old, and is around 10". he is a big bugger and can easily knock the lid right off her tank. WATCH OUT!
