Balas with Bichir?

Has anyone kept Bala Sharks with bichir? I was thnking a small group of them (3-4) in my 110 with 2 Bichir.
Any problems that anyone can think of?

if the bichir gets hungry enough, it might eat them. i keep 2" tinfoil barbs with my bichirs in my 150. no problems yet and its been a few weeks now.

Hard to tell. I used to have a 2" blue jay tetra with my endi. They live peacefully together until one day the tetra died of old age. But then there was this 4" Electric blue hap tank mate that got eaten by the endi after a few months.

my buddy has 5 balas and an ornate, not problems so far, they are in a 125

I am keeping 2x 9-10" senegals in a 90 gallon with a 5.5" bala, a 4" angelfish, and a 4" pleco, a 5" pleco and 6.5" pleco.
no problems so far, although when I first got the senegals they tried to get the bala 1 or 2 times, then gave up. probably depends on the fish, mostly.

get rid of the plecs, theyll kill your bichirs.

i have 2 balla sharks in my bichir tank. 7 diff. bichirs are in my 100 gallon and the sharks have been fine for over a year now with no prob. at all. they love all the diff. food i feed my bichirs and never i have any worries. my ballas are about full grown

Bala sharks get pretty big and grow pretty fast. It should be a fine combo.
