Alright im getting so confused with the genetics stuff.

If i paired a male norm with a female spider what whould i get?

100% Het Spider
or
50% Norm 50% Spider

Do dominate genes mean if bred with a norm ull get half and half and codoms only hets?

I think you'll end up with more snakes that are already over abundant.....

half of the clutch should be spider and the other half normal. there is no het for spider. only hets are recessive genes

You have "codominant" confused with "recessive". Codominant means that there are two dominant traits that can both be expressed at the same time (human blood type is a good example if you know anything about that). Recessive means that it is only expressed if dominant allele for that trait is there to overshadow it.

The way that chart shows it, the spider female is heterozygous dominant for the trait (meaning she has one allele for the spider trait and one for normal). In that case, 50% of the offspring will be spider, 50% normal. On the other hand, if she were homozygous dominant for spider, 100% of her offspring would also be spiders

At any rate the idea is not to breed normals with other morphs unless there is a market. I know there are markets for spiders, pastels, bumblebees, etc, but standard balls wholesale for, what, $5?
