well i finally got a hod of a baby ball, about 12" ( i will put piucs up after i get home from work) I have him on newspaper atm but i would like to use black sand i have left over from my wolf's tank. Is this a good idea?

No sand is bad for ball pythons, doesn't hold moisture at all. And bad for digestive system, nose and vents

yeah I went and got a some fluker's repta-bark that should be ok right? Anyways I done a little research today and came to the conclusion that he needs misted lightly every day and to keep a water bowl for soaking and help sheding. Correct me if im wrong, also please if i missed anything feel free to add =D

Misting isn't needed EVERY day.
You can make a humid hide out of a tupperware container, place it on the hot side of the enclosure.
But still keep a bowl of water.
