Ball Python pics!

I took my ball python (named Salazar by my fiance - Salazar Slytherin!) outside yesterday to get some fresh air and sun. We call her (I think its a her, still need to get it sexed) Sal or Sallie for short.

Anyways, I took her out for some air and sun yesterday. She looks great after her shed and meal over the weekend. She just kind of hung out at first, but then got pretty active. I think she enjoyed being outside and crawling around through the grass. I'm not sure she's ever done that before yesterday!

She just shed Thursday night, and ate a medium rat (about 5-6" body length!) Friday night, so she's still a little chubby from the feeding .

But I agree she looks good. I haven't stretched her out to measure her yet, but I'm estimating her at 32" long. I'm going to take her to one of my LRS' to have her sexed for certain, maybe this weekend. I may also get an accurate measurement on her while I have an extra pair of hands.

I know she's just a "normal" ball python, but she's beautiful to me!

I was doing some work on my pond last night, as well as filling up a new tank (220g ), so I took Sal out and let her ride around on my shoulders for a bit so she could get some more sun. She seemed pretty comfortable the whole time, and never really tried to get down. She did decide the top of my head made for a good lookout spot though!
