Hey, my ball python hadn't eaten in more than two months(maybe three) he just ate yesterday but it was a small meal.should I feed him again today?

How big is the bp and how small is a small meal? I know my bp won't eat anything from November til March and it's been commonly recorded that they can go for 6 months without eating. If he's healthy and not loosing weight, I wouldn't be too concerned.

He is a little less than three feet and has lost some weight, the meal was a adult mouse.he usually gets a small rat

Try again in a week. Don't stress him out until after he has a chance to digest this meal.

Is it on live or F/T?

If it's on F/T and will eat non-moving food, then you could place an appropriate-sized food item in its cage at night and then check in the morning to see if it took it; that almost always worked when my snakes would refuse to eat. Otherwise, I'd wait a week before feeding again like snakeguy101 suggested because other feeding methods can be a bit stressful. The main thing is going to be keeping its stress levels down by bothering it as little as possible e.g. you don't need to handle it and/or check on it more frequently.

He hadn't been eating because he had mites and then was in shed,he eats pre-killed.I'll wait another week

I wouldn't ever feed two days in a row ... Try again in 5-7 days, more likely 7 to allow time for hunger to set in since there have been issues with stress lately.

congrats. Just remember what time of year it is, and if there are cold fronts going through he could refuse meals easily, especially if he is older. If he misses a meal here and there he will be fine! :)
