ball python questions

I keep my foot and a half baby ball python in a 10 gal wrapped in card board to minimize stress with paper towel bedding a water dish a foam hide and a log hide any thing i'm forgetting comments are appriciated
 
Do you use a heatmat? And if you think your ball pythons doesn't feel secure in it's habitat, add some aspen bedding (that was what made mine eat)
 
yea heatmat but i thought that would have been a given lol.
nah i think ur all set. is it eating? if its eating and its a BP its happy lol

the paper towels are only temporary, since it's new. it'll be switched to aspen soon.
it does have a thermal gradient, a heat lamp

stress isn't a problem, it's already eaten 4 fuzzies.

we dont think he doesnt feel secure we put the cardboard up to make sure he doesnt
