Temperament is fair, still a little shy and nervous but seems to be settling in well. It's become very active in the enclosure, or was. Right now I'm watching it like a hawk because my boyfriend fed it an adult mouse that I think was too large for it while I was out (in all fairness, I did ask him to feed my animals for me when I should have done it myself)... So, it's a rock with a huge belly lump. Apparently it didn't have issues downing the mouse, but it's got me worried to heck. Or impressed. I'm not sure which, heh.
Still watching it... that lump is big. Though, admittedly, the mouse is well in the middle of the snake now, but still. I thought the hoppers were a bit large for it, they'll really do adult mice from the beginning? I know my adults took huge items, but they were grown, fat snakes already... it looked a little more feasible.
The babies that I used to have would take an adult mouse twice a week, so I doubt that you'll be able to overfeed it.
It's better to give one big meal instead of multiple small meals; it's also better to underfeed rather than overfeed (within reason).
