If anyone remembers, two weeks ago I rescued a male pastel ball python off of a negligent owner. He was extremely dehydrated and malnourished when i get him but within the short time I've had him he has made a miraculous turn and has been getting stronger everyday. The first 4 pictures are of him and his new 32qt tub that I have set up. I'm using eco-earth by zoo med as the substrate which is working great for the humdity. He's just going into shed again after just completing a shed when i picked him up. Just goes to show you how malnourished he was :/. Last picture is of him before he went into shed again. Really glad I was able to give him a better home

I didn't see your last post, but how are you keeping the temp up in that tupperware box? I could imagine a heat lamp would make the plastic melt :o

there's a heatpad right under the the tub, beneath the hide. keeps it nice and warm.

damn man! you got balls pickin up any snakes! gratz man! thanks for being a helper!
lol thanks man, I used to not be very comfortable with them but I couldnt just leave him when i saw him so he's easing me into keeping reptiles again and honestly Im already looking into getting another one when hes back to normal

Gotcha! lol He is a grogeous snake. A snake like that would be pretty expensive around where I live. I'm surprised his last owner didn't care for him :/

how do u pick him up lol
Some people tap them a couple times with a snake hook so they know theyre not being fed and then pick them up but ive just been grabbing him. Since I've never been bit by a snake I havnt really worried about it and if I do hes still a little guy so nothin to really stress about in the end.
