Baloo - Congo Puffer Fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I agree. I really hate cutting up worms for everyone so, I usually just throw them in whole and watch them get slurped up. We just have tiny round gravel for now. The eel that is in there with him, buries himself, so I don't think the gravel is too rough, but we are about to move him to his own tank, which we used to have set up as a puffer tank for Puffy our old puffer. I wasn't planning on another puff, but he's so deformed and with only one eye, I couldn't leave him getting picked on by the others. He's healed great, but just isn't getting a bigger belly. He is so fun to watch him eat the bloodworms, it's like he's slurping spaghetti :D I need to get a good pic of him so I can find out what kind he is. He was in with a bunch of red eyes, but he's different looking than them, but he may very well be a red eye,

Sounds like he is apart of the target species, I'm not the best at IDing target species because they all look very similar, but if you haven't joined already I would suggest joining www.**************.com lots of great info on puffers, and people who know a lot about them as well :)

I made my bf touch the earthworms.. I can handle king worms, and crays and bloodworms and black worms, but not earthworms.. reminded me of when I was 5 and I was running away from the kid holding it in his hands... lol!

I will add one, and take a picture & post it up here :)

Thanks everyone :)
