Absolute godsend, i think it's felt, 0.05mm (0.001968inches) [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][/FONT]stops pretty much everything ;)!

Think I went slightly overboard with the colour correction, they're a little warm, last photo shows the difference.
 
Does the 50 micron clog up easily? How often do you have to change it? I fun a bunch of polyfilter on my tank, and it works well, but it clogs up easily and after a few rinses I have to replace it, so Im wondering if this is a good replacement.

I'm presuming it will, it's in a very easily removable and replaceable area of the sump so it should be fine. The 50 micron stuff I purchased is really tough felt, I can't see it falling apart for at least a year, hopefully never. I've got coarser media above it but I'll probably clean both out every 2 weeks.

Looks great japes! Keep us posted on clogging/flow problems, if any, as they arise. It made all the difference in the tank for now. Nice work!
