Bamboo cave?

not an issue with me as its already hallowed out.
 
If you are concerned about the bamboo leaching in the water why not use dried coconut shell halves. If you want big caves, use silicone and piece together lots of coconut shells. The shells are PH neutral don't leach toxins and you can even leave the "hair" on them to grow algae that your plecos should love.
