I have a 26 inch bamboo shark and the are below his mouth seems to be swollen I remember somebody saying something aout treating this with iodine has anyone ever heard of this?
he is in a 135 ( I know it needs to be bigger) and he eats mostly fresh shrimp and formula one ands two cubes with occasional fresh fish and squid, he eats very well.
I would like to build an indoor saltwater pond for him but i dont think i can do that with my current living arrangements, he is in with a large lion fish
How does it do with a lion in there? I've kept them together before as well. Is the area just inflamed or is there a wound to go with it (possible from a tank mate or substrate)? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to rule out things.
oh he does great with the lion and there is actually also a large banana wrasse they have all been togeather a long time (there was a huma huma but the lion grew to quick and ate him) it seems to be inflamed more than swollen.
