Ghost Shrimp are fine to initiate hunting and eating in new borns, and as the occasional fun snack for pups, but are virtually nutritionally void, and absolutely cannot under any circumstances provide the necessary nutrients, vitamins and fats that pups need for sustained survival and developing immune systems. Likewise, ANY freshwater fish are an absolute red flag no-no when dealing with sharks. Not only are you potentially introducing toxins into your tank and shark - on the most elementary level - due to variances in natural habitats and biological differences in absorption/tissue storage and digestion of some hazardous compounds, but they are completely empty sources of nutrition, of which their bodies would break down and discard - which is actually more detrimental than not having food because of the reserved calories they burn through digestion of such nutritionally deficit items.
When it comes to appropriate foods, there are several which are suitable, and that's a good thing because a shark's diet should NEVER consist of simply one or even two foods, but rather, should be a calculated variation of several, with the addition of dietary supplements.
Check out this thread for more information, I posted a pretty lengthy reply specifically on feeding Bamboo pups, and think it might steer you in the right direction....

Also, another thing to always keep in mind, is that these sharks are nocturnal, so whenever experimenting with new foods, do so at night with the lights off so that your shark is more receptive to your efforts. Black lights, Blue/Green LED submersibles, and moon lights are all acceptable to provide that little bit of light you will need to see what you are doing, without it interfering with the sharks night time activities.
There is a lot more I can tell you, all you have to do is ask, but to make sure I don't make your brain explode - one thing at a time, lol.
