bamboo shark

well he was almost sold but the guy backed out and im going to atempt a build.
4x8x30in should be around 600 gal. i built homes for over 10 years so shouldnt be a prob, just dont know how to seal it up right, but ill be doing some reading here 1st. also thinking acrilic about inch thick i suppose!

If your buddy does sell him he better give you the money for it. Better get building how big is the shark now?

Thats what i was thinking, since by reading what you've said so far, it seems the LFS is either A) desperate to sell it coz hes been getting a lot of good offers? or B) He's running out of space and would like that tank back?

But i'm just curious, if he almost sold your shark the other day, are you going to have enough time to build/setup the tank before he decides to sell your prized pet off?
 
for sure get a temp 300 gal rubbermaid to house your shark you could even make it into your permanent home for him. build basically a box around it and it becomes a beautiful wooden indoor shark pond
