Bamboo Sharks in Freshwater???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Actually - it's not true freshwater. even if you take his word - of a 1 tablespoon of salt per gallon - it's still technically Brackish - not fresh.

Still either way Bamboo sharks actually require a higher salinity of at least 28-30 ppt(or 1.020-1.022 SG). So keeping them in such low salinity, in actually quite cruel - and likely to cause major health problems if where kept in there too long.

I didn't click the link, but if it's that same old video from awhile ago - it's fake. The one with goldfish right??? Those are dying goldfish in saltwater, not living sharks in freshwater.

Oh okay, yes it's the one with the goldfish. I actually thought that might be the case too but I didn't understand why someone would be dumb enough to kill a bunch of gold fish to prove a point as stupid as that. Thanks for the quick reply guys.
