Bamboo Shrimp Filtering

I did that.. they always went thru the baffles to sit right on the return pump sponge.. they do remove small particles in the water so thats kind of cleaning up some wasted organic material but they still produce waste. I think after reading this i might try putting them in my display tank since my overflow inlet is now filled with straws and they couldn't get sucked in. :)

Check these out! So cool I'm pissed cuz I'm 5 hours from home and can't really get one.. just look like massive bamboo shrimp except for the large claw.. they were labeled as vampire shrimp.

i don't think i'd want to get one of those vampire shrimps in with my bamboo lol. Have to say watching the bamboo shrimp wave its "Fans" from the outflow point of my filter is darn interesting. Thinking of getting a few more to accompany my loner

Never seen vampire shrimp before...they look pretty hefty.
